Water Channels Prone to Flood in Makasar Cleaned

Tri Saptanti, Vice of Makasar Sub-district, said the five urban villages are Pinang Ranti, Makasar, Kebon Pala, Halim Perdanakusuma, and Cipinang Melayu. The channel being dredged are Kali Mati in RW 07 of Halim Perdanakusuma and Jalan Kerja Bakti Makasar.
"We deploy hundred of PPSU personnel to clean the channel from mud and trash before the rainy season comes," she said, Friday (11/6).
Water Channel on Jalan Lebak Bulus III NormalizedAccording to her, the prone to flood area in Makasar urban village are at RW 05 and 07, while Halim Perdanakusuma are RW 05, 07, and 08.
"The worst is at RW 05 due to water from Cipinang river inundate the residential," she added.
The prone to flood area in Cipinang Melayu urban village are RW 03, 04, and 12. The trigger is Sunter river overflow. In Kebon Pala urban village are RW 10 and 11, while Pinang Ranti urban village is RW 04.
"The number of PPSU we deployed are 52 personnel for Makasar, 70 for Halim Perdanakusuma, 53 for Kebon Pala, 62 for Pinang Ranti, and 53 for Cipinang Melayu," she disclosed.
